Hays, KS - The Power Plus located along the I-70
corridor at 3505 Vine Street in Hays, Kansas will be
discounting their E85 fuel from October 8-11. The station
will be selling the clean, renewable product at 85 cents
per gallon on October 8 from 12 to 6 p.m. They will also
sell the product for $1.25 per gallon from 6 p.m. on
October 8 until 10 p.m. on October 11.
"This location of this station makes it very important, it
helps complete the I-70 corridor across Kansas. Plans are
also in place to open two more stations along I-70 in the
next year,” according to Kansas Corn Commissions' Director
of Value Added Programs, Robert White.
“This is really a promotion to bring up awareness,” said
Kyle Bauer of the Power Plus. “I believe many people are
driving vehicles capable of burning the fuel and aren't
aware of it. We just want people to be so motivated that
they have to look it.”
