New Initiatives

  • United States Marine Corps.  Presentation by Mr. Tom Smallwood, Chief of Alternative Fuel Facilities, United States Marine Corps-Mr. Smallwood will discuss the actions of the USMC to use alternative transportation fuels and how the NEVC assisted in this effort. 

 

2:30-2:50 pm

  • Mr. John Cevette, Executive Director of the Colorado Corn Growers Association.  Mr. Cevette will discuss the “next steps” to be taken to advance E85 in Colorado.

3:10-3:30  pm

  • Matthew J. Brusstar, PhD, United States Environmental Protection Agency.  Dr. Brusstar will review the progress, status, goals and objectives of the EPA “dedicated E85 vehicle” effort. 

  

3:30-3:50  pm

  • Curtis Donaldson, President, Clean Fuels Technologies, Inc.  Mr. Donaldson will discuss how CFT, Inc. transitioned from solely an LPG (propane)  equipment supplier to include E85 in the corporate portfolio. 

 

3:50 -4:10

  • Tim Gerlach-American Lung Association of MN.  Mr. Gerlach will discuss the status of the MN program that currently has in excess of 70 public E85 fueling sites.

 

4:10-4:30

  • Gary Welch-Technical Support Manager-Williams Bio-Energy. Mr. Welch is a member of the RFA Ethanol Fuel Cell Task Force and will be discussing the future use of ethanol in fuel cell technologies. 

4:30-4:55

  • Representatives from an automaker will discuss their vision of the status of flexible fuel vehicles, their potential to positively impact greenhouse gas emissions, etc.
