In order to provide Americans with an opportunity to contribute to advancing the nation’s use of renewable transportation fuels such as E85 and other high level blends of ethanol, we are pleased to announce the formation of the National Ethanol Vehicle Foundation (NEVF).  All contributions to the NEVF are 100% deductible for purposes of federal income tax. 

The proceeds of funds contributed to the NEVF will solely be used to increase awareness of the benefits of using domestically produced ethanol as a form of alternative transportation fuel. The NEVF strongly supports ethanol produced from both agricultural feed stocks and cellulosic materials.

Our nation continues to import greater and greater amounts of foreign oil, much of which is produced in countries not friendly to American freedoms. Using high level blends of ethanol may not be the magic wand that will set our nation free from hydrocarbons, but it is the most common form of automotive fuel currently available that is not hydrocarbon based. The nation cannot wait for 20 years while our scientists to develop hydrogen fuel cell powered vehicles! Ethanol is available today!
