President Bush’s State of the Union 30x10 biofuels announcement,
the barrage of new E85/ethanol legislation already introduced by the 110th
Congress, and the recent release of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate
Change report has placed E85 onto its second generation launching pad. Consumer
education, awareness, and acceptance will be the next frontier facing those
interested in expanding domestically-produced, clean-burning, low-carbon,
renewable transportation fuels.
The National Ethanol Vehicle Coalition (NEVC) website
has provided industry and public policy leaders interesting in advancing
E85 with a vital education and outreach tool. A tool that has helped
us meet the technical and informational needs of a rapidly changing E85
stakeholder base – a base that now includes consumers who are demanding
that our nation meet its longstanding and elusive economic, environmental,
and energy goals. The NEVC is now in the process of enhancing its
web presence and increasing its ability to use the internet to help meet
the growing educational demands of its growing constituent base. The
NEVC will need to raise additional funds to meet those growing demands.
As a result, we are now providing website sponsorship offering. This
is an sponsorship opportunity that can get your message directly to those
that support our collective mission.
We are VERY EXCITED to offer this new service. We will
also be proud of our sponsors as we believe they will help accelerate consumer
education, awareness and acceptance of those products and services that
directly advance the use of E85 and deliver on the promises of domestic
alternative transportation fuels.
